Move it on over

Dear Internet as a Whole:

Katy is moving now. You would not believe the number of tchotchkes that are going with her. And I don't even mean just the battery-operated kind. If you have emailed her in the last week or so and she has not responded, it's only because she's been running around like a chicken with its head stuck in a KFC takeout bag for days now, finalizing arrangements and shoving unbelievable amounts of stuff into boxes (no, not like that).

She will be tied up - and not in any fun leathery way - for the next couple of days, but she promises to come back on Wednesday when the move is complete. And then she will have many, many, many things to say to you all, when the proverbial spilling of the beans commences.

Sure, she doesn't really have the Wienermobile, which is a shame, as it looks like it could hold all kinds of tchotchkes and guitars. But, nonetheless, isn't the Wienermobile just fun to look at?

Please stare at the big wiener until Wednesday. You know you want to.

27 of you felt the overwhelming need to say somethin':

You know what that thing needs, don't ya? FLAMES!

We'll miss you, Bucky! Good luck with the move!

I heard this rumor that Oscar Mayer is taking applications for wienermobile drivers. I would apply but I'm gonna save that for retirement.

"Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer Weeeiner,
Oh that is what I'd truly like to be
'Cause if I were an Oscar Meyer Weeeiner,
Then everybody'd be in love with me!"

Not in a fun leathery way, now that sucks . . . I hate moving. What I really want to know is how did you get a picture of my car?

Good luck with the move. I'm trying to think of a positive thing I can say about the actual moving process, but basically it's hell, so I'll just hope that it goes as fast and as smooth as is super-humanly possible.

And here's one good thing - at least you don't have to lug around all that monkey hair with the boxes!

I think wieners are always good to look at. Hope your move goes smooth, Miss Bucky!

Hope your movement is not constipated.

(Wait. Let me borrow Susie's Hello Kitty helmet before y'all start throwing things.)

As a veteran mover, all I can say is it sucks, but it'll be all over soon, and you can whine about it to your heart's content.
Good luck!

I love big red weiners on wheels. That sounds like a male take-out escort service, Weiners on Wheels. I hope your move goes well, and believe me when I say this, but there really is a light at the end of the tunnel. Try to be a Zen Master--there is only the move, there is no 'before the move,' there is no 'after the move.' Or something. It does end!!
Catch ya on the flip side.

Sounds like a perfect idea! I'll eat the pizza!

Oh, and I'll snag the box of cookies from this meeting I just set up -- the cookies are as big as my head!

OK, it's Wednesday and as much as I have enjoyed days and days of big weiner, I really am ready for some Bucky.

Hope everything went well, and if it didn't, I hope it was at least amusing.
